Marbled Serving Tray

The clay itself is marbled with different blues, greens, and white with a clear glaze over it. I make this by separately wedging each blue and green pigment into a white clay to turn the whole clay that color. I then stack the different colored clay and wedge that to make this marble. After wedging, I roll it into a slab using a rolling pin, measure, cut out the tray, and hand form the edges. Once the tray is dry I fire it in the kiln, then brush it with a clear glaze, and fire it again to make the final product. 

This tray can be used in multiple ways: charcuterie, trinkets, candles, anything really!
